The works included the construction of a stand-alone guest house for up to two visitors, porches to three properties to allow the installation of stairlifts to improve access to the upper flats, refurbishment of the recreation room, new kitchen, relocation of the laundry room and creation of a wet room.

Other works included improving the security and lighting to the site, decoration of some of the existing buildings, improvements to all pathways and the installation of new entrance piers including improved signage to define the site.
